Crabtree Farms — More Than a Century of Stewardship

JOIN THE CLUB

Crabtree Farms is one of those rare places where both tell the story.

Located in the fertile Missouri River bottoms, Crabtree Farms traces its roots back to 1903, when Charlie and Sally Edwards made the move from Virginia to Missouri in search of opportunity and a place to build a future. What started as a family farm more than a century ago has grown into a sixth-generation operation built on hard work, faith, and an unwavering commitment to agriculture.

For over 120 years, each generation has added its own chapter to the story.

They've weathered changing markets, unpredictable weather, evolving technology, and the countless challenges that come with making a living from the land. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: a commitment to leaving the farm better than they found it.

Today, Crabtree Farms continues to raise corn and soybeans while carrying forward the values that built the operation in the first place.

A major part of that legacy belongs to Kenny Crabtree, who dedicated 79 years of his life to helping grow and improve the farm. His work ethic, leadership, and passion for agriculture helped shape the operation into what it is today. The systems, standards, and attention to detail that define the farm can still be seen across the operation.

But what makes Crabtree Farms stand out isn't a focus on being the biggest.

It's a focus on doing things right.

The family takes pride in running an efficient, well-maintained operation where details matter. Their goal has never been growth for the sake of growth. Instead, they've built a reputation as one of the most organized and respected farming operations in the region.

That mindset reflects something deeper than agriculture.

It reflects stewardship.

Stewardship of the land.

Stewardship of the family legacy.

Stewardship of the opportunities that future generations will inherit.

More than 120 years after Charlie and Sally first arrived in Missouri, the family remains committed to continuous improvement while staying grounded in the values that got them here.

Their story proves that success isn't always about becoming the largest operation around.

Sometimes it's about showing up every day, doing the work, and making things a little better than they were yesterday.

As the family likes to say:

"On the grow since 1944, and we're just getting started."

Crabtree Farms represents exactly what RanchWear Club stands for: family, legacy, hard work, and the people who keep American agriculture moving forward generation after generation.
